Dr. Hafsal K

Dr. Hafsal K. is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Madras Institute of Development Studies (MIDS), having previously served on the faculties of Sadakathullah Appa College and the B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science & Technology, alongside working as a Research Associate at IIM Bangalore. He holds a Ph.D. and M.Phil. in Economics from the University of Hyderabad, an M.A. in Applied Economics from Pondicherry University, and a B.A. in Economics from Calicut University. A recipient of the Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF) and the Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund award during his doctoral research, his areas of expertise include financial economics, macroeconomics, applied econometrics, and efficiency and productivity analysis.
