Dataset · Education
One row per programme offered by a college affiliated to Kerala's four general universities: 7,648 programmes in 1,024 colleges, with the degree (BA, BSc, BCom, MA, MSc, MBA, BEd and others), level (UG, PG or integrated), subject, sanctioned intake where printed, and the college's district (LGD code). Printed intakes add up to about 253,000 seats: 212,000 in UG and 38,000 in PG programmes; BCom, BA and BSc account for two thirds. Calicut and MG also say whether a programme is aided/government or self-financing. Ernakulam and Malappuram have the most seats (about 34,000 each), Wayanad the fewest (6,300). Use it to compare which subjects and how many seats are offered across districts and regions; college details are in PRI-EDU-0051.
