The Index of Industrial Production (IIP) of Kerala as the Directorate of Economics and Statistics publishes it: how much the physical output of the state's industry has changed against the base period, for the three sectors (manufacturing, mining and quarrying, electricity) and for all of them together (the general index). Manufacturing is also given by industry group, 23 groups at the 2-digit National Industrial Classification (NIC) level and 49 sub-groups at the 3-digit level. Each row is one index value for one industry in one financial year, one quarter or one month, from 2015-16 to the last quarter of 2025-26. Quarterly values exist for the four sectors only, and the monthly values cover every industry. Use it to follow Kerala's industrial growth through the 2020-21 fall and the recovery, or the ups and downs of one manufacturing industry month by month. The index measures production, not value or employment.
