Block-wise area of crops in Kerala, 2022-23 and 2023-24

Area under crops in each of Kerala's 152 blocks, in hectares, as printed in the Department of Economics and Statistics' yearly Agricultural Statistics. The 2023-24 edition gives 51 crops (coconut, arecanut, cashew, pepper, banana, tapioca by season, 27 vegetables and tubers, spices, fodder and teak); the 2022-23 edition gives 16. For every district it also gives the total of its blocks, of its municipalities, of its corporation (six districts) and the district total, and a State total row. Use it to see where a crop is grown inside a district, which no district table shows. The blocks are the department's agricultural blocks, which here are the 152 block panchayats. Production, yield and paddy by panchayat are not in this dataset.
