Scores of the NITI Aayog SDG India Index for each state and union territory, with India as a whole, in four editions (2018, 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2023-24). Each row is one area, one goal and one edition, with the goal score on a 0 to 100 scale where 100 means the targets for that goal are met. Up to sixteen goals are scored in an edition, plus the composite index score that combines them. Kerala can be compared with the other states and with India in every edition, and its composite score can be followed across editions. Goal 14 (Life Below Water) is scored only for coastal states and union territories, so landlocked areas have no row for it. Coverage differs by edition, as the 2018 baseline has no Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), Goal 13 (Climate Action) or Goal 14 score, and Goal 14 is scored for only nine areas in the later editions. Goal 11 has 36 areas in 2018 and 2019-20 and 37 or 38 after that.
