How Kerala's workers are spread across categories, from the Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) of MoSPI, in per cent. One table gives the share of workers by broad industry sector, by industry section and NIC group, by status in employment (self-employed, regular wage or casual labour) and by type of enterprise; the other gives the share of regular wage or salaried employees with no written job contract, no paid leave or no social security benefit. Each row is one category for one sex, sector and period, and the category column that applies is filled while the others are blank. The category 'All' is the total, 100 per cent. Use it to see how work in Kerala shifts between farm, industry and services, or how many regular employees lack a contract.
