Cases registered by the police of each state and union territory in India, from the NCRB report Crime in India, 2021 to 2024, in 20 crime groups: IPC/BNS crimes, special and local law (SLL) crimes, both together, murder, kidnapping and abduction, crimes against women, children, senior citizens, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, crimes by juveniles, economic offences, corruption cases, cyber crime, offences against the State, environment offences, cases of the railway police (GRP and RPF) and crimes against and by foreigners. Each row is one value: case counts for each year, and for the latest year of the edition the population used, the crime rate per lakh population and the chargesheeting rate. Use it to compare Kerala with other states, for example Kerala's cyber crime cases or its rate of crimes against women. Two editions are loaded (period 2023 and period 2024), so 2022 and 2023 appear in both; the figures are identical, so filter on one period before adding up years.
