The Kerala district overview of India's National Multidimensional Poverty Index in the NITI Aayog Progress Review 2023. For each of the 14 districts and each of the two survey rounds, 2015-16 and 2019-21, it gives the headcount ratio (the percentage of people who are multidimensionally poor), the intensity (how deprived those people are on average) and the MPI score. Multidimensional poverty in Kerala is the lowest of any state, so the figures are small, mostly below 2 percent, and differences between districts are best read as a ranking and a change over time. Use it to see which districts, such as Wayanad, still have the highest poverty and where it rose between the rounds.
