Daily market prices that the Price Division of the Department of Economics and Statistics collected from market centres across Kerala for its Market Intelligence bulletin. Each row is the price of one commodity at one market centre on one day, in rupees for the quantity named in the row (a quintal for most commodities; counts of 100 or 1000, kilograms or a box for others). The file covers 221 commodities at 52 centres in all 14 districts, from the start of January 2017 to the end of 2022, and is largest for Ernakulam, whose centres report most often. Use it to follow the price of coconut oil, copra, pepper, cardamom, rice, pulses and other trade commodities over six years, or to compare districts on the same day. Prices are not reported every day for every centre and commodity.
