Physical progress of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) in each district of Kerala: cumulative households issued job cards and cumulative person-days of work generated, each for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, others and in total, plus person-days worked by women. The figures are read from the appendix 'Physical details of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme' of the Kerala Economic Review (editions 2016, 2017 and 2019 to 2025) and table 23.13 of the DES Statistics for Planning 2014, covering fiscal years 2013-14 to 2025-26. From 2017 each edition prints the previous full fiscal year and the current year up to 31 August or 30 September (is_partial_period = true). Each row is one district (Kerala totals only up to the 2017 edition), edition, fiscal year and measure. In 2024-25 the districts generated 90.8 million person-days, 80.8 million of them by women. Use it to compare rural employment generation across districts and social groups.
