Wage rates of construction workers in rupees in every district of Kerala, from the quarterly wage survey of the Department of Economics and Statistics that the department uses for construction estimates. Each row is the wage rate of one worker category (mason, carpenter and plumber of the first or second class, wireman and his assistant, unskilled man or woman) in one district in one quarter, or the annual average for 2023-24 and 2024-25. Rates run from Rs 500 to Rs 1,300. Use it to compare construction wages across districts, or between men and women in unskilled work. The sheets do not state the period of the rate; the values match daily wage rates.
