All-India gender parity index (GPI) in higher education, the ratio of female to male gross enrolment ratio for the population aged 18-23, for all students and for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students, for every AISHE survey year from 2011-12 to 2021-22, from the AISHE time series recomputed on the 2011 census population projection (published on aishe.gov.in in June 2025). Each row is one survey year and social group. The GPI rose from 0.88 in 2011-12 to 1.05 in 2020-21 and was 1.01 in 2021-22; for ST students it reached 1.02 in 2020-21. A value above 1 means women's enrolment ratio is higher. Use it with PRI-EDU-0026 (GER by sex) and Kerala's GPI in PRI-EDU-0025.
