District income accounts of Kerala from the Department of Economics and Statistics, base year 2011-12, for every financial year from 2011-12 to 2024-25: gross and net district domestic product (GDDP, NDDP), value added by industry (agriculture with crops, livestock, forestry and fishing; mining; manufacturing; utilities; construction; six service industries) with primary, secondary and tertiary subtotals, taxes and subsidies on products, population and per capita product, each at current and at constant (2011-12) prices, for the 14 districts and Kerala. Amounts are Rs lakh, population is in hundreds and per capita product in rupees. 2024-25 is a quick estimate, 2023-24 provisional and earlier years final. In 2024-25 Ernakulam had the largest GDDP at current prices (Rs 1.68 lakh crore of the State's Rs 12.49 lakh crore) and Wayanad the smallest (Rs 0.23 lakh crore); per capita GDDP ranged from Rs 2.21 lakh in Malappuram to Rs 4.67 lakh in Ernakulam. Use it to compare the size, growth and structure of district economies.
1. PRI downloaded the publication PDF (published 20 November 2025) from the State Income section of ecostat.kerala.gov.in on 29 October 2026. 2. Each of the 56 pages is one table (year x gross or net x current or constant prices). Figures were read from the PDF text layer by position under the district column headings; every line was checked against its printed serial number and label. 3. Printing slips were resolved as follows: the 2023-24 net constant price page is titled "at current price", so it was identified by its smaller total; misnumbered (2023-24, 2011-12) or mislabelled (2018-19 line 10) lines were matched by position, serial number and label. 4. The table was reshaped to one row per district or State, year, measure, price basis and line, and the district abbreviations were mapped to LGD codes. The Total column is the Kerala row. 5. State rows were checked against the sum of the 14 districts. All additive lines agree within 4 units, which is rounding. Source documents: 1. In this dataset period is the edition (2024-25) and fin_year is the financial year the figures refer to (2011-12 to 2024-25). Only the newest edition is read; superseded editions (for example 2011-12 to 2023-24) stay on the portal and are not collected, so revisions between editions are not tracked. The portal's "Open Datasets" tab carries the same series as rows (dataset 111) but is only reachable through ?page= URLs that robots.txt disallows, so it is not used. Figures are DES estimates by its own district apportionment of State income, and the quick and provisional years are revised in later editions. Population is the DES projection used for per capita figures, not a census count.
