Institution-wise sanctioned in-patient beds in DHS health facilities, Kerala, July 2026

Sanctioned in-patient (IP) beds of every health institution run by the Directorate of Health Services, Kerala, as on July 2026, from the list "Sanctioned IP beds in DHS facilities" on the DHS website. It covers 1,289 institutions in the 14 districts: general, district, taluk headquarters and taluk hospitals, women and children hospitals, community, family and primary health centres, TB, leprosy and mental health centres, dispensaries and mobile units. Each row is one institution with its district, category (as printed, with a label), address, PIN code and number of sanctioned beds. Kerala had 38,525 sanctioned beds, from 4,718 in Thiruvananthapuram to 1,132 in Idukki; 675 institutions, mostly family health centres and mobile units, have no in-patient beds. Use it for bed-to-population ratios and to compare public hospital capacity across districts and types of institution.
