Number of new (incident) cancer cases registered in the population-based cancer registries of Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam, the two Kerala registries of the National Cancer Registry Programme, as printed in the registry chapters of the ICMR-NCDIR three-year reports for 2009-2011 and 2012-2014. Each row is one registry, report, sex, cancer site (ICD-10 code) and five-year age group (0-4 to 75+, plus unknown age), with the number of cases over the whole reference period, not per year. In 2012-2014 Thiruvananthapuram registered more cases than Kollam; in 2009-2011 the Thiruvananthapuram registry covered the taluk only and Kollam covered 2009-2010, so the counts of the two reports are not directly comparable. Use it for the site and age pattern of cancer in these districts; for rates per hundred thousand people use PRI-HLT-0011.
